Oh! I LOVED it. LOVED it.
I loved the industrial revolution, the literature references, Mary Poppins, James Bond, even Mr Bean (who I normally grind my teeth at!), the Doves on Bikes, the dancing, the singing, David Beckham on the speedboat, just the EVERYTHING.
I loved the cauldron- oh, oh so brilliant and beautiful. the marching athletes- some brilliant hats, dresses, scarves and of Sir Chris Hoy you did us proud. That flag was so high and proud and brilliant. Sarah Stephenson taking the oath for the athletes, I hope all of our athletes believe in that oath and we can have the best Games ever.
So proud to be British.
